I help family businesses and family offices create effective governance. The need for this often arises during the transition in ownership and leadership between generations, so the context for my work is often succession planning. These inter-generational transitions are an excellent opportunity for a family enterprise to seek the best forms of governance to satisfy their future needs.
My role is as follows.
Providing an effective framework for discussions about future governance.
Supplying information and ideas that will help these discussions.
Sharing practical experience gained from working with enterprising families for over 20 years.
Facilitating meetings about the future that can sometimes be sensitive.
Helping clients to develop governance structures and practices that work for them.
As well as my consulting work, I regularly provide training and education for family enterprises and professional advisers.
